I came back from my star walk, and was thinking of sleeping. The day had been long enough already, I was a bit tired, and rightfully so. Then my tent neighbor arrived.
We talked and conversation flew wonderfully. She learned chinese, does art, is american, travelled a lot, listens well, she even knew of Jung and more! She also showed me the nice crafts she did.
Time for the next day. I felt good in my tent under the sun, but it was starting to become a bit of a furnace!

Then… It becomes a little more blurry. I had a headache for most of that day, and wasn’t very hungry, even though I still felt some peace, and enjoyed some conversation, I spent most of it reading the book and chilling, if memory serves. Disease caught up with me somewhat. I tried to talk of philosophy with someone, but wasn’t able to really say what I meant. I’m still somewhat tired, it’s been a hectic past few weeks.
I know that every morning Maria was boiling some eggs for me as well as her own.

I wanted to do my workshop, pastel emotions, but ended up learning how to do shibari instead. I won’t post that picture here, but I loved discussing with my instructor, Dante.
“I can really see how one would be peaceful, once they don’t have to move,” I said when asked for an opinion. It’s not hard to do the ropes, it’s about what you do with it, what intention you want to convey, what mood there is.

On the third day I had a wonderful conversation about the nature of life, the unconscious and more with a scientist, Oxygen. “A bright young boy”? Perhaps. It also didn’t occur to me I was making art with the egg shells - I was just playing around with them - until it was standing in my face. The colors, the movement, the texture… What does it say?
Then I went under the big common tent, and talked with Maria again. She asked me to test her story healing workshop. Yes, please! I couldn’t find a story from my past to heal, so we took one about my future. How it may go. Once the story was over, she let me choose the pill I wanted. Of course, I took the cryptic message one! It said, “It’s not a no, it’s a maybe.” Later on she gave me another pill, made by another participant of her workshop. It came with a cute little dice and the note “embrace the randomness.” Isn’t that what I’m doing?
I saw another acquaintance doing abstract pastel art, and learned some tricks by watching him. Then I felt like giving it a go again myself, and colored 3 pages. This is my favorite, but I won’t tell you what I think it means, until you give me what it means for you first!

There were more talks, one of the participants mentioned wanting to write a book - me too! Well, more like 8.
Another 2 are also going to ragnarok in summer… I even went to a spanking workshop! It was not what I expected, indeed just like shibari it can be a form of communication. As always, I’m more of a giver than receiver.
In these few days, I got the chance to talk of everything I wanted to talk about! And more, there wasn’t only serious talk with a goal. It was very fun to just build up funny things around the campfire.
When I met Dante in the middle of the day, he thought I hadn’t slept. Sometimes just have calming energy. At other times, passionate energy!
I think we all have different energies, energies which I can’t quite put into words easily - positive, energizing, curious etc, I suppose.

If you stuck around for this long in the story, there’s something else you deserve to know. In my talk with Oxygen I mentioned to him how I think our subconscious shapes our reality. Or at least, mine seems to.
There was a chinese women, that came for one day. I have never seen anyone of such natural beauty - I don’t usually get attracted to people by their appearance. She had a boyfriend, and the way she looked at him… She looked at him like he was the most beautiful thing in the world. I know that look, probably because I’ve had it myself. That is what I want, not the kind of love I saw another acquaintance have, with a man that must have had 3 different women in his arms for the camp. She cried in his arms, but he was unphased.
That’s not all my subconscious revealed, but let’s not stay too serious. What’s not serious? The cabaret!

Where everyone was able to do anything! There was a nice lad telling the story of vanquishing a dragon, songs, accrobatics by two, one in the air the other on the ground (I think I wouldn’t mind trying that too).
So, in short:
These participant/organisers (everyone shares all responsibilities) made workshops and the like, from healing the stories we tell ourselves, to a glory hole (not sure where the glory was, but I didn’t stick around to find out). I notably learned shibari and… Spanking.
The mood was amazing, people were interesting due to being more their true self than most usually dare to.
Nights and days passed, getting to know these people and myself more. The nights were cold, and my body was spent. I learned that no suffering does not mean no limits… But I don’t mind resting a bit!
However, something else became apparent as I stuck around this community: sometimes drugs are easier to find than sleep. What surprised me the most is the fact that they were almost never on their phones, but also had little notion of time! They sometimes missed workshops because of that, or arrived a bit late, ha.
