Not going to move the world’s mindset by pointing at one more thing wrong with it. Change the world already says this — the lever isn’t attention, it’s mindset, and mindset moves by example, not by argument.

So: don’t try to change everyone. Pick the one thing. Know what you want changed, then learn the mechanics of actually moving it — marketing to spread it past yourself, empathy to know how it lands on someone else, capitalism or politics to push it through the systems that decide, history to know why it’s stuck the way it is in the first place.

pauseAI 1 is what that looks like already built: one specific ask, organized, not just believed. Story of AI is the same worry a step earlier — a stance, not yet a lever.

My own lever is AI. How AI should be used — I want everyone holding the same tool I hold, not gatekept by whoever got there first. That’s the “individually and collectively” line in manual of Alex: more power distributed, not concentrated, built on openness instead of fear.

Mine isn’t protest, it’s access. Build the thing, give it away, let people use it to see themselves clearer. career-plan-2026 is the vehicle underneath that — the credibility and the money that let me actually do this instead of just believe it.

If a cause can’t say what its lever is, it doesn’t have a theory of change. It has a mood.
