Who am I?
It’s a tough question.
Since I wrote my book, I sometimes answered this question with who I wanted to be, who I dreamed to be.
I was content to endure and make mistakes so I would quickly learn from scars.
I wanted to be as flexible as the reeds, strong and tall as the bamboo, yet passionate as the parrot.
But now is the time to take that mask off. My mind no longer has excuses not to, now that it has balance, now that there are emotions and reason. The mistakes were made, and the lessons learned.
I have learned how to walk, and I stand tall.
Now, I am enough. Being is enough. A rock on the ground does not ask why, it just exists, and that’s enough.
Perhaps it always was enough, but I found excuses not to accept it. Not enough this, not enough that…
Life will help me find out who I really am, as I take the time to journey inwards when big questions arise, instead of using the easy answers of fate, the ego, others, or the mask.
From a simple interaction with others a cascade of reactions can come within.
I am on a path, and every single deviation, the way the wind moves the trees, how my steps disturbs the pebbles, all of it gives insight.
I no longer have a map, only the compass of the emotions within, sometimes simply felt, and sometimes understood by reason.
I can’t recommend meditation enough, it gave me the strength and means to face my true self.
That, and love
I wanted more time, and work and thesis got delayed.
Once again I seek questions more than answers
I am healed, so I present a helping hand.
The passion, that was me
