This book is the stuff. Even for me it’s a bit hard to read.
Nirvana is unity with the subconscious
Dreams are symbols, religions have symbols, things that are beyond words, the divine has to be.
We are divided between conscious and unconscious but we need not be. What we don’t accept goes into the subconscious, but sometimes it escapes.
Dreams are a way out of many to access free association that allows us to see things that are not there but in our subconscious, or just focus on the dream in and of itself - can lead to our issues, complexes, but also to more…?
One symbol has more than one meaning. Context.
Animus, anima, other sex in self, can degenerate.
When something slips from our mind, it goes into the unconscious. Those who “forget” one way or another can be hypnotized and suddenly know all.
So memories can be found again by uniting with it!
We don’t have as much control as we like to think.
Increadible.. The subconscious is very powerful, and it can predict our failings when we cannot. Trust your dreams!
Interpretation depends on the individual. Example: my contained dangerous side. I was not ready for her yet, strolling through life with great fun. Feeling hurt/disrespected by her. Before, of wanting women.
My subconscious always has been pretty clear and amazingly powerful. Being a superman.
Need a symbol made from dream or drawing. Worried of being late.
Some symbols are deep in the subconscious, we evolved with them like some abilities and tendencies we have. They’re probably the origin of most myths. Unconscious also predicts.
We can use these to change humanity!
Myths may be false, it doesn’t matter, they give meaning. God man, original heaven…
Interpretation of dreams is hard and subjective, cannot have hard rules, symbols can mean a lot.
There’s a lack of these symbols today.. It’s the perfect ground to change the world.
Numinosity: relation of concepts to living individuals
Myth of hero: relates to how we grow up in multiple phases and sacrifice the child. The battle of good vs evil is the battle of the ego vs the shadow, damsel is the anima, risk of too big ego, need to assimilate the shadow to win against the dragon.
Free the anima from the mother.
Myth of beauty and beast represents woman having to change the relation to man from her father to her lover, embracing the animal side. Animal can also be a symbol of transcendance.
If life was adventurous, insecure can seek rest and certainty of religion. Otherwise want something else, own identity.
Important to be open, receive the self and unconscious, oneness, not imitate others. Don’t follow religious masters blindly.
The point of religion is to be one with god.
When you stripe it all away all that’s left is god, no individual.
Art is the spirit of the age, artists contained somewhat… So we can look at the art of the past and deduce their culture!
Paint in trance
Sex animal need to combine with reason somehow, can’t venerate woman too much as mother figure.
Paralel between quantum and psycho, undetermined.
The subconscious determins our reality. All is energy, nothing is fixed. We pull waves.
The world is open, Jung had many creative ideas. All connects together.
