A more beautiful question
We think we know how to ask questions, we don’t, especially in today’s world of answers and technology.
What new possibilities? Questions direct thinking
Montessori method is the best
Tell kids to question at school, good questioning often comes from childhood
Let children understand by themselves
Use questions to brainstorm
Socrates’ method merits further analysis
Then kids can ask us questions we may not thunk of that give us new paths!
Inventor of instant photography:
““If you dream of something worth doing and then
simply go to work on it .. . if you think of, detail by detail, what you have to do next, it is a wonderful dream even if the end is a long way off, for there are about five thousand steps to be taken before we realize it; and start making the first ten, and stay making twenty after, it is amazing how quickly you get through those five thousand steps.”
It’s important to take the time to take a step back so questions can appear, just like doing and finding ourselves back must alternate. A step back from doing and thinking we know, to challenge assumptions.
See the world trough fresh eyes, easy for anyone to be like a kid
Dont have to be able to suggest a better thing for a question but can
Questioning the questions, ask why 5 times, use a closed question to see if the open question makes sense
Right questions, and immerse yourself in the relevant people’s life, make the problem your own
Own the idea and take your time off and relaxed, but at some point get on with it, ask friends. Faster to just try things
Learn from failure
Best time ever with easy connections and vast knowledge
Shared question in public
Questioning never ends
Companies ask too small questions, don’t have a clear purpose and values enough, need to stay creative to not sink as big ones
Brainstorm for questions, and give time for questions
“The best you can hope to have is a good compass to guide you.
The ones who understand that—and can embrace that—are going
to have the greatest adventures.”
Question daily life
What would you do if you could not fail?
Experiment, be surprised by life
Fail, but differently each time.
What if I fail, what then?
What if I do nothing?
What if I succeed?
Questioning to solve conflict by attracting both sides, not making them defensive
Question is a quest
To better the world,
To better ourselves,
Answers are boring.
My question was “who am I?”
