Don’t let AI replace you. It’s faster yes, so don’t boycot it either.

This is actually more optimal. If you lose your abilities and become a user you can easily be replaced. Practice builds thought and improvement through its need to take time to do it and potential for reflection. Take pride in what you do

This AI we can “talk” to… It has never felt, never lived, it does not understand, it’s just a book that reacts to what we say… Yes talking to other humans is scary and messy, we don’t know what could happen, even though in the end they only mostly trigger our own existing fears and insecurities… How dare they be real.

AI being broudly such a sycophant is litteraly making us dumber, when the technology could be doing the opposite by telling us the truth in a way where we own our lives (AI is just reacting to what you say, so you would be realizing what you’re doing wrong if you used it that way, it’s not something external to you judging you).
I want to empower everyone with AI so this is core to the kind of systems I’m building.

Another thing to keep in mind is that whilst AI is becoming more and more competent at things, if we let it do them for us without even broad awareness, we may do things quickly, but we won’t learn. It’s a trade off.

AI can be used to:

  • find, process, organize and remember information
