16 artists from all over the world coming here in Ladakh, seeing it from an external perspective. Speaking and thinking with their hands for all of us.
Artists speak and materialize what the people feel.
They talked about fear of technology and how it cannot replace emotions and human connection. How they went through the difficulty here in Ladakh too.
They shared with each other and spoke in turn.
If you ask, why do this? I will say, why do anything?
Because we are humans, and let’s not forget that and lose our connection.

I talked with the french person who sang as we all hummed together, he recommended trying out the underground place that shows acrobatic arts in a static way for us to experiment.
I was confused but it was interesting.
Another conversation, technology is coming to Ladakh, and they want it, so who are we as outsiders to say they shouldn’t get it?
Yet behind it there may be some bad things. It’s just a tool, of course… Like a knife.
And the culture of the world… I see it unifying… I see people becoming passive because of their mindless consumptions that stops them from being themselves… They no longer spend times on making culture much…
Whatever happens my friend,
Never let the light in your eyes
Become a hollow…
