How governments work is quite interesting to me.

We need governments (at least, they have a use) to go against the citizens being unruly. Governments make the law come alive.
But it’s very interesting how it works, and it ties back to how India was conquered to me (really, yes): the english paid indigenous soldiers much better to just work for them.
Translation they converted them using money and making it in their interest and thus identity to work with them.
